During the winter months we’ve been busy giving the pens and animal barns a fresh coat of paint and preparing the ground for our new attractions for 2009.
We had to go half way across the country to find our lovely miniature donkeys but they quickly settled in and are now very much a part of the Holmbush family. During the early weeks of opening we are running a competition to try and find the perfect name for the donkeys so do come along, take a look at them and see if you can put a name to their faces!
Out in the play areas we are really bouncing into spring with the introduction of two giant Jumping Pillows! If you haven’t seen these kind of things before you are in for a treat – they are great fun for children who like to bounce and are at low level so, unlike trampolines, there is no fear of falling off.
Things are always changing down on the farm so do keep a regular check on this blog to find out about our latest arrivals – piglets, lambs and kids; special seasonal activities and tales of the unexpected!
